Pop Art transforms photos into authentic-looking 2X2 or single frame Pop Art paintings in the Warhol style. Pop Art uses photos snapped from your camera or from your devices photo libraries. With Warhol Silkscreen a color layer is first approximated by an algorithm that actually paints your photo in the style of Warhol leveraging Apples advanced face detection. You then touch it up to your liking and blend it with a screen layer using different blend modes, contrast and threshold settings for different compelling Pop Art effects. Continue working on a single frame or 2X2 canvas to edit the colors or select one of the 13 custom presets based on famous works and artists. Or save your own custom preset for future use. When satisfied save or share your artwork.

Two other cool themes are included: Obama HOPE and Posterize. For the Obama HOPE theme, first vary the highlights, mid-tones and shadows using two sliders. Color correction is provided to vary the colors evenly across the photo especially useful for too light, too dark or low contrast photos. An interpolate mode interpolates the mid-tone colors while leaving the darkest and lightest colors bold. Edit the poster caption to create an authentic-looking Obama HOPE poster.

For the posterize theme, vary the colors as you do for Obama HOPE then continue working on a single frame or 2X2 canvas and edit the colors to your liking.

- utilizes new iOS 11 features advanced face detection and super-retina display
- optimized for iPhone X, 8 and iPads also backwards compatible for other devices

Pros and cons of Pop Art app for iPhone and iPad

Pop Art app good for

This fun application is great all it needs is even more colors to choose from
I really like this app! I love color! Id love to see more color choices! But other than that its great and fun! My friends like it as well and we have fun messing with pictures so I say this is awesome
Originally I could not get this app to work, but apple sent an update which resolved the problem. This app is fun and creative, i have a cute wallpaper thanks to this app. Good value and fun.
Ive had lots of fun with this app. As someone else mentioned, it is a little annoying being kicked out of the app upon canceling. I suggest adding an option to randomize the color selections. Besides that, I hope the developer continues to improve on the app.
This app is awesome and I have never had any problems with it at all!!! Great buy:)
This app is really fun. I enjoy changing all the colors and coming up with new combos.

Some bad moments

Got one picture done! Very cool but it crashes everytime its opened! Got free one and paid for this one...still crashes! Please fix!!
The only end product is a four quadrant image of which you can customize the colors.
This app tints your photographs different colors, but does not use two contrasting colors (in the style of andy Warhol, like the icon). Very disappointing. Also, if you select the camera option then push cancel, you are returned to your homepage and have to enter the app again. Not worth the money. Deleted it right away.
I thought it was going to be a good app after reading the description and reviews. Well, the color picker doesnt turn on at all and shuts down the app right away and the camera doesnt work at all from the app. Does my version have a bug because no one else seems to have this problem.
The app barely has any features and its distorts the photo much you can see it. There are not enough settings to make the picture look right. Do not buy.
It is cool but cant get what I want like 6 or 8 poses, there is only allow 4 frames. Needs to be fixed ASAP. I paid , it needs to be fixed
